Here is Christina posing with our new victims:
The first victim was Tom-Tom. She was shooting my Walther p22.
After her, it was Meg's turn with the p22.
So we all shot through several magazines, and decided it was time to head home. Just as we were leaving, a man from several stalls down, came to talk to us. He offered up a few of his pistols for us to try if we wanted. Apprehensive at first, we finally gave in.
The first gun he brought down was a silenced Glock-17, which shoots 9mm ammunition. The silencer helped so that there was very little recoil with this weapon.
Here is a picture of Tom-Tom posing like her favorite assassin.
Next he brought down the big gun we had saw him shooting earlier. The Freedom Arms model 97. A single action revolver, that retailed for about $3000 when you include the after-market add-ons he had put on the gun. Here is a picture of the gun itself.
This weapon shoots the 454 Casull ammunition. I posted a picture below, so you can see what that ammunition looks likes. In the picture, the ammo my gun shoots (.22LR) is labeled #12. The Glock that we shot above shoots the 9mm which is #10. And finally the 454 Casull is #3, about the size of a AA battery.
The first to step up the plate to shoot this was Meg. So the guy loaded up a "women load" and handed the gun over to her.
Then it was Tom-Tom's turn:
And then Christina stepped up to take a shot.
Then he turned to Darren and I to shoot. This time he loaded the gun with 4 rounds. Each increasing in power, starting with the "woman load" and working up the the fully-loaded hunting round.
Here is Darren
And here is my attempt:
And finally here is the target we shot with the 454 Cassul. I am posting this mainly to brag. On my final shot with the model 97, I somehow hit dead center on the bullseye. Probably will never happen again, so I am bragging now haha. Top Shot here I come!
It was a really fun day, topped off by shooting those amazing firearms. To have someone nice enough to allow us to shoot their $3000 handgun was a really cool. It is people like that, which make the world of shooting so fun. Hopefully, we will meet more people like that in the future, and we can shoot other weapons as well.
